Wierd old guy in red suit, smiling scarily - what's not to be terrified of?

I remember when I was a little girl my mom took me to take a photo with santa at our local mall. I was so excited to do it until I saw the man. As soon as I saw him I began to cry and scream. I must have been a toddler. Since then I don't like people in costumes like clowns. <cringe> I'm so scared of clowns.

The tradition in Sweden differs a bit from what you have over there. Here, Santa visits on Christmas eve, and actually drops by to deliver the gifts in person. Typically the father of the house conveniently leaves a few minutes before Santa arrives... ;)

Terrified kids are probably just as common here, though! :D
