Southeast - Spotted!

I'm rollin' on part of the "A" route the Gaston county club has layed out outside of York, SC and after 900 miles I see my first cyclists on the road. I can only hope that I was grinnin' as big as they were! Anyway, that was me in the HiVis jersey and my tounge hanging out! :) Hello to ya'll and I hope you had a nice ride on this glorious day.

since Sept. when I started riding I have seen no one else on a bicycle while I was riding. Hey it was exciting! :)

You should try riding around the Davidson area , you'll have lots of company. BTW its 75 degrees and sunny today while the rest of the country is iced out .Today, I dont mind the drought.

Yes, it is a great day to ride! I work second shift @ Siemens in South Charlotte, so this lets me ride in the mornings, say any where from 9:30 to 12:30. This is why I never see anyone, plus York, SC is not a cycling hotbed! But I sure am having fun! :)

Looks like we are set with these summer temps until thursday. Gonna make the most of it.:D

I work for the engineering company that designed the pipeline from Three Rivers to Siemens. Same Siemens?

Same Siemens, I work in Power Generation. Siemens is a very big outfit, they have their fingers in all kind of stuff......:eek:

Thanks for the invite, I had checked the thread and it looks like ya'll will have a big time! I will be visiting my parents and won't be able to join in the fun.
