I'm going to be in the Greenville and Spartanburg, SC (I'm in Spartanburg for this week, Greenville next week) area for the next two weeks, if anyone would like to join me for a ride or know of any groups rides heading out of the area can you please let me know? No cost, just tip the SAG. There are two groups. The A guys run about 20-22 avg for about 75-80 miles. The B group runs around 17-18 for 65-70 miles. They will leave you on the A ride, but will not on the B ride. Weather down here is suppose to be really nice this week. Also, we typically do a group ride with me and a couple buddies on Sunday. It is about 24 miles up a mountain to have breakfast & then back down. It a great ride with some beautiful scenery.

Finally, if you are looking for something fun to do, we have a 25 mile loop that is used at the US Cycling Championships. The pro guys ride the loop 5 times the first year & 4 times last year (apparently they thought it was too hard - wimps!) But it is a great ride with some fun climbing & pretty low traffic areas for most of it.

There are a ton of rides that leave somewhere between greenville and spartanburg daily. You can join the yahoo group eride, or if there is a particular day of interest, then you can let me know, and I can feed some info to you. As suggested above, the uwbl is a great ride, and it will be going down on saturday am in greenville, at carolina triathlon. There is typically a second ride sunday morning as well.
