The city of Knoxville is having a ride the 19th from downtown to look at Christmas lights. I should have my lights on my bike by then and if I do I am going. It will be my first night ride. Sounds like FUN to me.

They are a lot of fun. Our cycling club has a Christmas Lights ride each year. They're usually around 10 miles so we're out in the cold less than an hour then it's off to dinner:)

My club is having a Christmas Lights Ride tomorrow night. I found some battery operated Christmas lights at Wallyworld to decorate myself and my bike for the occasion. I'll get some pictures.

My club has a similar ride most years. I'm leading it on Sunday evening. We'll do an easy 5-10 miles, and have some hot chocolate and Irish coffee afterwards.

We call our ride the "Tour de Lites". :)

There were only a few of us and there were not as many decorations as I remember in years past in that neighborhood, but it was big fun riding around at night all lit up. I have not done a lot of night riding, but I want to do more. Hard to believe how warm it was on a mid December night! [8D]
