Its a disease with no known cure. The best part is both bikes will come at minimal cost. Selling the Look frame and fork will pay for the S-Works, and the madone will cover a good portion of the complete bike.;) That is being covered by my really cool employer since it was a good year.

U gotta let us in on this "cool employer" if they keep giving away those big fat bonus checks :D
About the disease, 'ya know its going to get worse and the scary part is like what you said, there's no known cure yet.

See Sean! I'm not the only one who thinks so ;) That's okay though, now no one will notice all the crap I buy! :p
Could have sworn there was another thread where I asked about the extra dough for the extra bling.. and you had some really odd answer that made total financial sense.
Well uh.. you blew it!! <-- and I KNEW IT!! Dude, the madone, the look.. your mtb's back in the day when you did that kind of riding *cough* YETI *cough* the S-works was only a matter of time.
That bike is gonna be sweet man makes me jealous

You don't need to stay out of the LBS. Just leave your money and credit cards at home...

Wow, you change bikes like my ex-wife changed her shoes! Given how tall you are, I'm a bit surprised you've never just gone custom........
BTW, is there any way to buy stock in one of those LBS's?

At 6'3 I dont need custom. I need a taller head tube, took me a while to learn enough to know that. So far Cannondale and Specialized are the only mass produced companies to do that. Well actually the new Madone has also. I dont want to go custon, its a pain. The Tar,mac is a great fit and I will most likely ride it for atleast a year.:D

What size is your new frame?
Oh, and I never saw a price attached to your Look... Not that I could afford it or anything.

The new one is a 61.
The Look I want $1700

Hey, as long as you're buying more bikes, you could pick up Hincapie's old Madone for only $10,200 on Ebay.

I already have a 62 Madone that is too small. Those prices are a joke. I wonder if they will sell any of them.

If I had millions of dollars lying around, such that $10,000 was essentially nothing, I might be tempted.
But I'd rather have a Motorola Merckx!

My wife and her control of our bank accounts is my cure! I may get the Bottechia CF frameset from the BD Xmas GB in the road forum but only because it's relatively cheap and I can pay part now and the rest when it comes in. Plus I'll swap my stuff off my current bike to that one to save $$ and to make my wife happy. Doh!
Consider yourself lucky Specialized Sean! For now, I will live vicariously through you! haha!
Good for you that you LBS does not have these Orbea Orcas :D
Just joking, but for me these are momentarily the clear winners of any design contest.

The name of that bike just throws me off. Orca at least to me implies big/heavy/slow/cumbersome etc.. that frame looks none of those. The amount of cash it would take to get one might be big/heavy/slow/cumbersom etc. but thats about it.

I thought so too for a while. Here's Wikipedia's description of the killer whale:
The Orca or Killer Whale (Orcinus orca), less commonly, Blackfish or Seawolf, is the largest species of the oceanic dolphin family (Delphinidae). .... Orcas are highly social .... The sophisticated social behaviour, hunting techniques, and vocal behaviour of Orcas have been described as manifestations of culture.
And the seat collar seems to be an attempt at imitating the mammal's dorsal fin.
