Hahaha... well... here's the story on this.
One night in late August we got a phone call which I answered for my dad. It was from a family friend who I knew had that 9000 sitting dead in his yard. There had been talk of buying that car. When he got off the phone I thought I knew what was going on and asked "what'd he want?". Well, I was right. MY dad turned to me and said "He just called to say that you're the proud owner of a 1996 Saab 9000" and left me shocked in the kitchen. IT is eventually towed home where I dedicated much time helping him fix it under the assumption I was getting a car out of the deal. About the time we're done he informs me that he's going to sell it instead. That leaves me without a car or the money I put into it.
As for the 900... that was a deal with my brother. He bought a newer one but he had to take them both, so that gray one sits as a parts car and vehicle for teaching myself and his girlfriend how to drive a standard.
Therefore, if the 9000 sells I'll more likely than not be able to pick up the 900 for dirt cheap and put the same effort into fixing that that I did the 9000.
Oh yeah, the Chevy is a slightly mobile parts shed.
Wow... that came out long

Siu we've been over this.No camera, no pickie :( Yes it is a shell. No motor, no interior.
I feel so left out.Even my 60+yr old moms has a digital camera.
I am just the kind of person who does research on what he purchases before he purchases.Unfortunately this leads to things I either can't afford or things that I can afford but don't purchase because I have read too many bad things about them.
I'd like to get a SLR but I can't justify the cost.I'd rather purchase a different set of heads for one of my engines or something for my bike.Like a nice set of wheels, or another frame.

Be sure to take before and after pics! :DI'm sure it could, but I'm planning to buy something a little more finished, and either sell this one, or make some kind of crazy hot rod thing out of it. (Step 1: Take off the fenders, chop off the roof, and weld the doors shut. ;))
