Strong appearance by ONCE, but a respectable second from Postal being only 10 seconds off the lead. I was surprised to see some big gaps in the results ... also surprised to see Cipo actually made it out to be honest.
147 Mario Cipollini (Ita) Domina Vacanze-Elitron 2.01
Leading his team across the line and everything ....

Imagine Once with Beloki.

I read an interview with Beloki a couple days ago that said he thought this course would have been perfect for him and that he was pretty upset about having to miss it. Certainly ONCE looks to be strong and with Beloki they would definately be a force.
I'd like to see them do well, but I wouldn't mind seeing Postal pull off a solid result either.
Please keep us updated on how Beloki performs. I'm very interested in seeing how he's doing!
Thanks for the results, keep 'em coming!

Beloki's crash in the Tour de France ended his season unfortunately .... no performances from him :( Igor Gonzalez de Galdeano will be left to pick up the slack, it will be interesting to see how he does.
I thought he was out, but when people started talking about him, I assumed... I guess I assumed wrong! But still, thanks for the update, all the same.
I look forward to reading more.
