had a great ride on sat with the group
down to the dead sea, up the scorpion's ascent (3 km 10%), through some really nice desert landscape in perfect weather. can't get better than that.

Looks a but barren but Trust you enjoyed yourselves. Now I know you said winter but I can see one set of bare arms there. Is he just Macho or are the rest of you wimps?

Hey. I think that guy in yellow is riding my bike! One doesn't hear about 'riding to the Dead Sea" in bike magazines. Exotic. I love it.

Just curious, what is perfect weather in that part of the cyclling world? See a mix of long and short clothing.

Did you guys get any fishing in during your trip? Here in Kentucky you wouldn't have had to carry bait, they sell it in the vending machines.

I never thought about winter or mountains in the desert. I did some searching on scorpion's ascent and found it interesting. I really like reading about these types of rides....gives me a chance to learn new things:)
