At the end of an evening ride last week, I really stomped on it. Was doing about 18-19mph and pushed it up to 26-27 within 10 seconds. And rode that way for about half a mile.
On my Thursday evening ride, there was a definate tick or creak. It occurs nearly every rotation at about the bottom of my right leg stoke.

I have checked the usual suspects, seat post, saddle, peddles, etc.
I even pulled the cranks off, tightened the chainrings and replaced the cranks - with some lub and still have the creak.

Anyone believe that I've cracked my AL frame?
Or something wrong in my BB?

Don't have the tool to loosen the nuts or pull the shaft out...

What should I be looking for and any suggestions as to how to isolate a noise.

Thanks:beer:

Looks like you've retightened everything except the B/B cup.....
