Does anyone know the weight of these 2 rides. LBS claims TCR is under 17 lb even with heavy Cosmo wheel.

is the TCR1 the one w/ultegra? if so, i seriously doubt its under 17 with heavier components and wheels. it's probably marginally lighter than the 5200, however. but just get the one that fits.
I think the 5200 is between 18 and 18.5...Just bought one and I believe that's what the LBS told me.

A medium TCR1 composite (on our scale) with no pedals, weighs 16.5 pounds. The Zero weighs 15.6, which is about the weight difference between the cosmos and Ksyeriums.
FYI, my 54cm 5200 with pedals, water bottle cages and Flightdeck computer is right @ 18 lbs.

Giant's frame and fork is lighter
plus - the fork steerer is carbon - which tends to be lighter than the alum steer on the 5200...
