i presume you measure in inches from the top of the seatpost to the bracket?

I would imagine you measure it in the same place you measure any bicycle, only you use inches instead of centimeters.

NOT from the top of the seatpost to the bracket.

1 inch = 2.54 cm or 25.4mm
