I saw this bike on craigslist and was wondering if anyone had any information. Looks like an interesting bike to say the least. The buyers asking 20 bucks and I was strongly considering picking it up as a project for the winter. Any insights into the bike?

It's worth $20 easy! It's pretty much the same bike, (Same factory in Nottingham England) as a Raleigh Sports.

The Raleigh chrome polishes up nicely, and parts are available. They ride nicely too. Look up references to Raleigh three speeds in this forum.

This sale belongs in the Numbskull thread. The only way that bike is worth $300 is if each tire was patched with a $100 bill.

I've seen some of these come in at one price and eventually get reposted at a lower price as well- can't blame 'em for trying. It IS a nice looking bike.
