They were the victims of a major robbery earlier this year, now a truck slams into the building (http://bikeportland.org/2007/12/09/truck-slams-into-wall-of-community-cycling-center/). Apart from having to vacate, the beautiful new mural may well be lost. :(

Life certainly throws some curve balls (http://rlmarr.blogspot.com/2007/11/curve-balls-of-life-written-by-rlm.html) no matter who you are or what you do, there are often challenges. The hope is that it will not be seen as a setback but instead as an opportunity for growth.

Well, they can replace the destroyed equipment, but that's terrible about the mural. I think, though, it will inspire another, equally beautiful mural.

I am sure that the driver meant no harm--after all, he lives in the building.
