Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - 9, 9, DQ San rensho parody photo?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
where is the photo of the parody of the 3rensho sticker that says 9,9, DQ? I've been looking and looking, but someone's BF-fu must be greater than mine.

What does the 9, 9, DQ mean? Does Dairy Queen have a 99-cent menu?

3rensho means 3 consecutive wins, the best a racer can do in a keirin race, and has the highest pay out. the 3 1's in circles represent 3 first place finishes. 9, 9 dq, means last place, last place, disqualify, or about as bad as anyone can do....
yea im a nerd.

That's very interesting, thanks for answering my smart-arse question with a serious answer. So how would one say 9, 9, DQ in Japanese?

It's actually called "shikaku" in Keirin.

What keirin in-joke?

Its not really an in-joke for any riders in Japan. Anyone who cycles (fixed or not) knows 3rensho in Japan.
Also, they made road bikes too. With gears and brakes and all those road bike things on it.
What?
No, I think you're mistaken.

i mean...i hate to be a hater, but converting a nice 3rensho road bike...a bike like that was born for gears.
edit: and i just realized---electrical tape? oh, come on now, that's just not nice at all....

well, at least you didn't put electrical tape on it. i just got a feeling that the rider/builder of that other rensho treated it the way a lot of people treat old schwinn conversions.
