Do you think these guys tried too hard for the album cover photo?

Very confusing. The second crossdresser has a star of David on his, uh, shinguard? But the band's logo looks somewhat like...

Christian Glamrock - the epitome of real bad music.

The AOG on the breastplate probably stands for Assembly of God.

I think the Poison photo is evidence enough that during the 1980s the music industry and the adult video industry were inextricably linked. Like, maybe there was only one hair & makeup artist (sic) in Southern California servicing all the glam bands and the porn starlets? Has anyone ever actually seen a photo of Bret Michaels and Tracy Lords together, or could they be one and the same?

Those are *not* jazz hands. The palm is facing the wrong direction and they are too vertical. Those are more Flashdance/A Chorus Line hands.

Sorry, I was a theatre major in college.

Too confusing. Can you take some pics of yourself doing each so we can see the difference? Please?

No...really, we only want the pics because we really want to see the difference. No....of course we wouldn't use them to make fun of you. Why would you ever think that?

Yikes! I'm kinda glad I don't know the difference. But just in case, like KT said, we need evidence.

I mean, I'd hate to get them confused when talking to the guys about it over coffee.

Sorry, I was a theatre major in college.I bow to your superior knowledge of jazz hands. :p

In any case, they're still in the same general genre as jazz hands, and are thus not something one would expect the heavy metal gods of Stryken to be caught dead doing.

Then again, they're wearing wh0re makeup and L'Eggs.

It is something that hast taken year of arguing, countless committee meetings, and millions of tax dollars to define.

I'd like to see the train wreck that would be the present day photo shoot of the members of Poison doing the same set up as that fruity album cover from 1986.

Here's some, uhhh, interesting info about the band (http://cdbaby.com/cd/stryken).

I worked with a guy recently who was really into Stryper. Possibly the two worst forms of music in the eighties was Contemporary Christian and Cock Rock. When you combine the two, it becomes an abomination.

Dee Snyder was an evening DJ on a local rock station for a while (WMMR in Philly). He was surprisingly articulate and interesting.
