I'm in LA for the next 10 days and want to rent a bike so I can go on some group rides. Can anyone recommend a good shop near Marina Del Ray, and some rides I should check out?

Traithlete Zombies (http://triathletezombies.com/page.cfm?pageID=53) rents road bikes. They're in Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica.

cynergycycles (cynergycycles.com/) seems to be popular around that area as well..

had a bad experience with helens samo.... very unfriendly, was a very serious buyer looking to get a new frame, no one even bothered to say hi to me or ask me if i needed anything...

it was during a weekday, not busy at all... walked around the entire store... i live closer to the MANHATTAN BEACH one... and i was very pleased that even its a smaller store.. they are amazing at customer service and will provide you with all the help and questions you need answered..


EDIT tri zombies is a great store as well...

Summit Ski and cycle on Lincoln and 84th in Westchester. right next to MDR on the hill. Great guys, really nice people. Bikeology is on Lincoln in MDR, also great people.
