Foo - What I did with a day off 'cause the office closed.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Because it's doing this outside pretty much everything in OKC is closed. Over an inch of freezing rain, 210,000 customers without electricity. We're lucky though, we live in an area where all the utilities are underground and the ice doesn't mess with our power.

So I took the opportunity to make a nice, organized bike and bike stuff storage/work area.

You really screwed up on that "build your own bike kit". Pedals are in teh wrong place, the seat is too low, bars are too high. Geez:D

Wow, soonerbent, that's what our winter weather looks like, when it comes. I'd much prefer snow, because around here, it'd only be a day or so before it'd be gone. And one could actually drive in it. Can't drive on a sheet of ice. :(

I still haven't heard back from my step-son and his family in Tulsa. Hope they're ok.... :o

There's a hill by our house that you either have to make it up or go miles out of the way to avoid. There was a 4-wheel drive SUV pulling those who couldn't climb it up the hill. I was one of the unlucky saps!

This system seems to have been following I-44 right up towards Tulsa so I bet it's pretty bad up there too.

Hope it gets better out there quickly. I still haven't heard anything from Tulsa. :(

Hope it gets better out there quickly. I still haven't heard anything from Tulsa. :(It's supposed to slow down tonight. And it's supposed to be above freezing statewide tomorow so things should improve quickly. Lot's of overhead power and phone lines down though. That will take a while to repair.
