Im desperately looking for some new 26" wheels for my MTB.

Im looking for -

- Wheels that can handle a little trail, although I will be mainly using the bike on road. So nothing super-reinforced.

- A real bargain. Somthing under $100, the cheaper the better, although I still want reasonable quality.

- Black rims, hubs, and spokes.

- Hub has to be disc brake ready.

- Rims have to be V-brake compatible, although I still want a fully black rim.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

look around at some of the online stores and im sure you will find something under $100 bucks. Deore disc hubs and rhino lite or a mavic 221 rim fit your price range. They wont be the feather light stuff, but should suit your needs. Price point, supergo, cambriabike, wheelworld, are some places you may want to look at. good luck.

Your not gonna get all black wheels that are v brake compatible, they machine the sidewall.

Thanks for the help everyone. Chain reaction cycles is perfect, because im also in the UK.

Yes, most sidewalls are machined on v-brake compatibles, but some arent.

Anyway, I have changed my mind now, I will probably get my disc brakes at the same time, so no need for the v-brake compatibles, so less hassle.

Thanks.

Ebay. They have some full sets for under $50 if you want to bid on them.
