Southern California - Renting a road bike in San Diego

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Everything is in the title... I'll be in San Diego over Xmas and I'd like to do some biking. So... where can I rent a road bike? (Plus, I've seen there is a BRM200 on jan. 5th and I must say I'm very tempted, though I haven't cycled much since completing PBP...)
Contact Nytro in Encinitas. They may still have some rentals available.
We'll be doing the brevet on January 5th as well. We did it last year, it's a great route once you're inland and climbing!
I found bike-tours dot com. They have some decent bikes. The other is nytro dot com

Congrats on completing PBP. Hopefully your rides in San Diego will be a little more dry!
+ 1 on renting a bike at www.nytro.com
A friend of mine rented an aluminum Cervélo there this year. Decent bike and was well maintained. I think he paid around $40 for the day, but I think you can rent for a week as well.
Just FYI. I just got an email that Moment Cyclesport in Point Loma is also now renting bikes. Road bikes, $45 Tri bikes $50… per day. For 3 days $120 or $130 respectively.... The road bikes are Giant OCR A1s, the Tri bikes are Giant Trinity A1.
