I've been very successful using the Hurricane Mini Pump Mount kit from performance.

I cut off each snap fitting and use them separately. The size is perfect to snap in a Dinotte light. I've used other mounts to attach to a seat stay and a seat tube. The snap holds the light securely and I've had no problems with them detaching. It makes a much more elegant mount than the "O" rings and allows for mounting where the "O" rings are not an option.

How is the pump mount attached to your bike...?

I'm not very good with uploading pictures, so here's the link to the photo shack site showing multiple pitures of three mounting Options. I used a seat stay mount on my Extra-light, a seat post mount on my Griffen and a double rear rack mount on my Silk Path. I utilized older parts off of old light mounts. The rack mount is based on a Control Tech computer mount. Each Hurricane pump mount yeilds 2 Dinotte clip on mounts.

That's pretty neat, but aren't you afraid that you will lose them when you hit a bump?

The clip holds the light engine VERY tight. No chance of popping out.

I rode today with my Kona Jake on a muddy trail / fireroad and no problem with the light moving much less popping out!
