Track Cycling - Who is making pursuit frames?

Hi. I'm focusing mainly on Time Trial this year and have been thinking about trying it out on the track. So I was wondering if there were any companies out there that are building more pursuit based track bikes. I know louis garneau was making one last year and it looks like pinarello's chrono looks a little more aero based. Or could I just build up say a cinelli vigorelli or something like that and put some aero bars on it? It looks like a lot of the pursuit bikes they were racing in the world cup aren't specific to pursuit, but I may be missing it. Any suggestions would be great.

just to point out. I've ridden track before. so it's not like a first time thing where i'd be dumping money into something that I'm not sure if I'd like. just wanted to point that out before someone says "you should try track before...."

A lot of people at my track just put aerobars on their regular bike. Some people have pursuit-specific rigs, but they're usually custom frames. Tiemeyer, Dolan, Landshark, and Spicer are a couple builders. Pinarello, Masi, and Look make pretty aero framesets that can be bought off the shelf.

Just look for a frame with a low top tube. The short head tube will let you get low but require an up sloping stem for mass start racing. You will find plenty of them. In the $800-1,000 range there's the Van Dessel Drag Strip Courage and Blue TR 250. Upwards from there are the Tiemeyers, Dolan Arc, Teschner Track Pro, BT Stealth. Most carbon builders only make the short tube versions because a separate mold costs too much.

Any bike would do, I think. If you're really concerned about aero;
-A bike with bladed tubes, the HT and DT are the most important
-A rear wheel cutout in the ST
-A short HT
-A TT a few cm shorter than what you usually ride
-Replace the stock fork with an Oval Concepts T900 track fork, it's supposed to be 0.7s faster in a Kilo.
