Not yet. I won't hear til later today, at least. All I know is they are trying very hard to get it all working.
I believe what you are refering to might have to do with the message in News & Announcements dated 11/14-16 about a cyberattack?
Was the extent of this limited to their front door or was our database directly affected?

The database is and was secure, that much I do know. There was no loss of data, and no accessing of any information within the database.

I'll reserve comments about the "style" of the new "upgrade" and just let you know that there now seems to be no way to go to the last page of a thread from the index listings. You can only go to page 6 at most and then you can click on "last" page from there to see the most recent additions to the thread.
Personally I think the software should be smart enough to have a link that will take you to whichever page is new since you last logged on, but at least going to the last page is close enough. Sometimes we just have to backtrack a few pages to pick up where we left off.

yeah, that's annoying.
I just got a database error while trying to access the Ask Pcad thread.
I have an advertisement in the corner of my screen. Will this go away after a while?

Cannot access P&R at all. The screen just goes white.
Agreed, I like being able to jump to the last post and last new post. That would be nice to have back.
I wouldn't mind seeing the post counts gone too.
And is my avatar smaller?

In really long threads it's difficult to get to the last page. For example the mercier kilo tt thread in the FG/SS forum is thousands of posts long, and when jumping to the last page you get a database error. This may be related to the issue presented in the older version where the last page of a thread really wouldn't be the last page. The real last page would be a few before. I also miss being able to jump the last page from the index.

someone in road said how to jump to last post: click the time under the last-post-by name. it's a link, but the font that indicates that is nearly undetectable.
crappy UI - UI should indicate features.
i don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but my email notifications no longer work.

Just to add to the dog pile about not being able to get to the end of muti-page threads. With as slow as the site is running to have to opena thread twice is really annoying, and time consuming.

We're working on the issues with thread page, etc right now.

I'm sorry, but I find the background, white space, and font issue to be near unreadable for any extended amount of time. Of course, the connect time between forums and threads does offer some relief.
I also can't seem to be able to "Go Advanced" for replies.

Is there any way to make each post take up less of the page? I could look at like 8 posts previously now I can barely see one. The 'dead space' is insane.

It's borked for me too. Will I have to find someone in real life to pointlessly argue with over petty BS now?

Just freakin' GREAT! I can't go anywhere. The software in not user-friendly. It took me 30 minutes to post THIS!
Out it this way - FIX it, or don't expect another word from me! Phooey!!

No icons are present in left column to indicate status of threads: new, subscribed, locked, etc.
Also no boldface thread titles to indicate if a thread was read or not.

Still unable to access P&R. login attempts result in a blank page.
offline for half of a week due to am alleged cyber attack, then the introduction of a buggy new software package. genius.
So we're beta testers? How did the focus group react to the suggested new layout and color scheme?
Can someone please send me an email, advising where I might find my control panel?

When I try to log in to p&r, with a yes in the box, it either times out or goes to a blank page.

Keep getting a database error when I try to get to the last page of this thread, either by clicking "Last", or by jumping to a specific page. (Maybe posting this reply will get me there.)
Also the note at the top of the page says to report problems at this thread:
h ttp://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...0#post10050960
But it's not hotlinked and the ellipsis obscures the URL.
Edit: I tried putting a space between the "h" and the "ttp" to disable automatic URL linkage, but the site put several blank lines there instead! (Still looks like just a space when I edit this post.)
Edit 2: And now the several blank lines are gone.
Can't search anything over a year old!
Can we have a selection of looks? The fluffy 2005-ish web 2.0-ish takes up too much space on the screen.

When you view someone's profile, there's a huge amount of blank space before the content begins where the tabs are (Leave a message, friends, etc.). The blank space is as long as the sidebar with the personal info on it.

I have having the same problem with P & R - I hope its a general problem and not something I need to fix with my compter since I am not that bright - and while on the subject - the reply box - can you make it any smaller? Geez these old eyes can't read it at all!!!

P&R issue is being worked on, it's not just you.
User Control Panel is under settings, top right of the forum, Brian.
The 'Welcome to the New Bikeforums.net' sticky is borked. A sign of things to come?

That's very counter-intuitive. Like clicking "Start" to shut down.

A few things:
When viewing "new posts" it says "page 1 of" but doesn't mention how many pages there are. You also cannot get to the last page of results.
When viewing "new posts" if you click "last>>" it goes to the first page.
If you click last in a thread, then it goes back to the main forum screen
I'm still unable to read the messages. I keep getting database errors when I try to go to first unread or 'last' page. I also keep getting 'connection reset' or 'time out."
Also, the link you posted on the first page doesn't bring me anywhere.
It looks nice though...
