My Lightbrain controller has shipped... so all I have to do is wait a bit longer...

I decided to convert my straight wired over-volted halogen system to a high tech super duper fun light system by adding a Lightbrain Plus controller. I'm an engineer, so you know that I have difficulty leaving things alone... even if they work fine! :rolleyes:

If you're using a Lightbrain... are you happy with it? And what's your favorite feature and what do you find is the most useful feature?

I like the way it evens out the battery usage and light intensity. I have the dual-plus unit that controls two lights. The multiple settings lets me carry heavier wattage and trade off between light output and duration. I can also dim when passing other cyclists on the MUP.

Here is my basic setup. There are two MR16 halogen lamps (from several I stock with different angles, temps, and wattages). You can see them red square momentary on button/switch. The lightbrain is in a hot wax sealed 35mm film canister. I used male/female RC connectors on the lights, battery, and lightbrain.
