I know the rims and hubs are worth more than I paid. But look at the spokes. Do those look like Ti to anybody else?

What does a magnet tell you about the spokes?

If they are kind of rainbow colored then they may be titanium. Back in the '90s there was a company that made "ti-die" spokes that were kind of purplish-blue-green.

Magnets don't stick to Stainless either, do they?:D

Magnetic stainless is the 400 series, it's OK, but not considered 'real stainless', by some, and is
much cheaper to buy & scrap than the other grades.

I have a pair of Cane Creek with Ti spokes and they are about that color blue. I think you can anodize Ti just about any color nowadays...

hmmmm so the wheels came in today(finnaly). The spokes go from gold at the hub to purple to blue to green. What do you think

Sounds quite fetching.

I bought an old/er set of wheels with Campy hubs and rims and Ti spokes. Was really light. Broke a spoke on my first ride after tweaking all of them. Broke 2 more on the 3rd ride.
These are the only 3 spokes I've ever popped.
Relaced the wheels with some new standard wheelsmith DB spokes - they may weigh a few grams more but I haven't had a problem since.
