This is true but I think he won that race ;) In fact Will Black almost beat him. Granted he's a former pro mtb'r and now a superb Masters cross racer but non the less.

I can't imagine that he'd race anything other than 1/A. Then he'd really be sandbagging.
Hey, if I were a Cat 1 crosser it would be cool to be there just to say you raced against Lance.
It would be pretty funny if he was racing Bs though...
EDIT: And that X01 looks bone stock except for the paint. No more blaming the equipment guys, that think doesn't even have deep dish tubulars or a carbon fork :(
