hey gals!

If you haven't recently, head over to the Women's Forum. We are now taking 'reservations' for rides with the Bow for 2008. Bow is going International this year!

Details about the Bow and riding with the Bow are over in the Women's Forum. If you're not able to "see" the Women's Forum, it's either because a) you're a guy, or b) you are a gal but have yet to get permission to enter from one of the moderators. Contact donnamb for details if you are the latter.

Why don't they let the guys see the forum? Are we that bad? :)

They're shy about their problems. Meanwhile the guys have to ask about their embarrassing problems out in the open.

I should start a club that restricts admission to women... o wait that's against the law.

Feminism, it's not about equality.

Considering half the discussions lately have been about knitting, there's really no great mystery :D

To address your second point, though, we'll have equality when women can ask questions about women-specific bike fit (because we're not just smaller men), sports bras, and training intensity during one's period in the regular forums and NOT be greeted with a barrage of junior-high comments. Hasn't happened so far.

Oh I see your misguided view of equality.

"We will give men freedom only when they start behaving like we tell them to." This is akin to saying "you can have any job you want, as long as the job you want is washing dishes and making babies."

Face it, feminism is reverse sexism stemming from a desire to exact revenge for past misdeeds. To bad those paying the price are not the sexist men of the 50's but instead their innocent grandchildren.

PS
Some of the men on here are quite well versed on the physiology , biochemistry and training implications of the menstrual cycle. Too bad you choose to ignore them based on their sex alone... sad.
