Foo - winter/christmas/reduced daylight - leading to BF angst?

Not sure if it's just me and a lack of sleep but the levels of angst on the forums seems to have increased significantly.

So is it winter blues or my imagination?

It's your imagination. We never get angst-y or nutso around here in winter. We do get down for some holiday Foo par-tays, however. :D

yeah - as they say (me that is) if I've got nothing positive to say it's tme to go do something else.

My theory...Since the departure of Cypress from Foo, all the angst that floats around is now looking for a new outlet. Since there is none quite like the Cypress, all this angst is building up and effecting everyone :)

2007 has been a cyclist's nightmare here in Kansas. We have had everything imaginable that can interfere with riding. Started with a lot of snow last January which led into a crazy storm and rain filled Spring. Which led to a rainy Summer, and now we are finishing up with the biggest ice storm i have witnessed in my 38 years.

I am a winter rider but the ice lately has even knocked me out of the game. There are still hazardous ice laden branches and power lines everywhere. More snow is predicted for a couple days. I got angst, and a whole lot of it. I've hardly ridden in the last 10 days, and i'm hatin' life.

There are no more Christmas lights in the neighborhood because most of the power is out. I have power but my decorations took a beating in the storm.

I'm hoping good telemarking/skiing/snowboarding/etc. will exhaust any excess angst then.
