And just for the hell of it, some of my many pewter/silver fairies I collect. And all my other stuff in storage, including a small library of spell books, etc.

Take that St. John's Wort and you shouldn't be bothered with depression.

What gems do you have? I see a quartz crystal in that picture, what might be topaz, what might be citrine

I used to have a bunch of gems, and I think I'm going to go for more.

Have several -- (I make jewelry and stuff on the side too) citrine, labradorite, amber (black, green and cherry red), cornelian, garnet, lapis lazuli, hematite, all sorts. Made my ex a dream catcher and decorated it with all sorts of gemstones ---- because they were not only "pretty" but in the wiccan world they also contain "powers" (amber, labradorite and hematite - good examples of protective qualities). I also make amulets.

BUT I forgot - the essential item :D

Yeah. thats probably why i maintain their websites for them ;)
I have next to no interest in gems :p.
I used to have 2 small gems that i dont even know what they were on my desk but i think somebody swiped them.
Darn little gremlins.

Soes, I have to ask, because I've worked for some of these people for years and they've never answered this. What do people do with these gems? :p

Falkon

Breathe fire? Cause pestilence?

I ususally summon Asian demons that can do backflips and shoot fireballs.

To seriously answer your question, different things. Many new agey spiritual types get them, because each one does a certain thing. Some are healing, some capture bad energies and negative thoughts, some give you positive energy.

I have them, because I'm a geek and I like these things.

My department.

Awesome stuff, Tude! I once got a pewter casting of a faerie sitting on a mushroom...I painted her and made her some wings out of stained glass. I wish I had gotten photos of her before I gave her to the person she was meant for... I'll make another one of these days!

:) One of my way too many hobbys - got turned on to this about 5plus years ago by a friend of mine - who was a High Priestess in her coven (her ex husband is still a High Priest in it). However I have made amulets and other things for friends at their request (i.e. a travel charm as they were going on a long trip, spell info for a friend trying for a certain job, protection amulet for someone who seemed to have all the worst luck in the world)
