From today's LA Times. Even comes with a you tube video. I've never seen this type of bike before.

Lame.
(The bike. Not you. Not your post. The bike. Lame. "Livens up the boardwalk" ?? Who the hell would ride on a boardwalk for fun? Last I tried that, human traffic jam, slow, and dangerous.)
Oh well...what's old is new again!!!...lol. All they need is the banana seat, ape bars, and a spring to match the originals. Kneecrackers is a better word for those swing bikes. E.B.M. made the original models back in the mid 70's.

Now why is it lame or stoopid? While I wouldn't go so far as to say that it "makes a regular bike seem boring", it's a funny bike with a little retro history for somebody who wants to mess around and be different. Kinda like a tall bike. It would be fun in a parade.
Come here little swing bike. They mock you only because you are different. I see you as "special"...like a unicorn. There is a place for you in my garage alongside the "regular" bikes...;)

I think a swing bike is less stupid than a tall bike.
