I just saw a pair of NOS Cinelli "prestige" toe straps on E-bay, item number: 300181817569. This guy has a buy it now price of $99.00 and has, IMO, the audacity to ask $8 shipping on top of that! I've sold 2 pairs of these straps for under $35 myself and they commonly come up for auction for $39.95., as well as other sites: http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=653&zenid=6fa5d8f8b3a73a9f37b7b9007eca03ae
I know. Whatever the market will bear. It's just incomprehensible to me. I personally, would be embarrassed.:o

Obviously! It's just the greed thing that gets to me. Some poor newb is going to bite on these and get ripped-off. It just torques me, thats all.

I've been trying to watch Ebay and Craigslist here lately, and there are a lot of items in each that are overpriced. But you'll notice that a lot of the overpriced items turn up again and again because they don't get sold. But it's definitely a buyer-beware on the pricing- if you don't know what it's worth, don't go paying a bunch for it.

I've seen plenty of used items sell for more than they cost brand new!! People will buy anything!
