Has anyone used a Beto Floor Pump? This one (http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=670069&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=17421&bmUID=1062990076688) looks like a great deal at $25 Canadian. Anyone used one of these? Anything to look out for when I go to take a look at it?
Darren,
I bought one of those about 3 years ago, and it is still going strong after near daily use. I have no problem inflating to 120psi. The only caveat, and a minor one at that, comes when you want to inflate an uninstalled tube (patching 'em up). The problem is that I usually have to detach(sp?)/reattach the head a few times before air comes out of the correct hole. eg, I go to pump up on a presta valve and the head insists on pushing air out of the schraeder hole. Otherwise, I think this pump is pretty good value.
Hope this helps,
Mike

I will plug the Zefal DoubleShot. I've had mine for 12 years & it's still good as new. Fills a tire superfast also, pumps on both strokes & i believe is still the biggest capacity floorpump out there.
My only crit is that the base is too light - i epoxied lead scraps into it to help keep the pump upright.
If you have a doublehead valve you can try a few pieces of duct tape to seal the side you're not using, or epoxy it shut if you never use one side.

Mikey - thanks for the input. Sounds like what I wanted to hear. I think I'll be picking one up sometime soon. Looks hard to beat for that price.
