2008 Elite, U23 and Junior Road Nationals head to Orange County
Colorado Springs, Colo. (December 14, 2007)—Following last month’s announcement of USA Cycling’s 2008 National Championship dates and locations, the national governing body announced today that the 2008 USA Cycling Elite, U23 and Junior Road National Championships and Junior Track National Championships will be held in Southern California in mid-August.
The USA Cycling Elite, U23 and Junior Road National Championships are scheduled for Aug. 7-11 in Orange County while the USA Cycling Junior Track National Championships will be held at the ADT Event Center in Carson, Aug. 14-17.
USA Cycling awarded the road events to Jet Cycling in conjunction with Rock-n-Road Cyclery who will serve as the local organizing committee for the road race, time trial and criterium events.
Specific details related to event schedules and courses are still being determined and will be announced in the coming weeks.
