So I woke up too late to join the AV B ride. So I decided to follow my original plan, and go climb OLH. I didn't leave the house till around 10:30 am. When I got to OLH, there were a couple of COPs, and a fire truck, blocking the road. I asked the cop, and he said it's closed until further notice.
Does anyone know what happened? I hope it's not a case of a rider going down.

I was there around noonish and the road was still closed. When I asked if I could ride by the cop said no there was a HAZMAT crew up the rode. I didn't inquire any further and left. When I rode by around 2:30 they were gone.

Hermes and I rode by around 10:45 AM and heard the same thing - a fellow rider noted that perhaps the HAZMAT was due to a cyclist who "lost his lunch" on the climb. :D
