The brake levers crack easy over the last 3 weeks I've gone through 2 sets of them, didn't even crash in that timespan. Will post pics if I can remember to.

Serious...they have some serious work to do on that lever then...bummer man, it looked so promising.
Yeah. I'm bummed too. I hope they fix this problem.

No he means the new Juicy 7 HYDRAULIC levers. Believe it or not Danka knows what he's talking about.

Have you ever set a bike up yourself from scratch; didn't think so.
Please don't assume that the person who put they're own bike together doesn't know what they're talking about parts wise, that is usually false.
Is Avid acknowledging this as a strength issue or are they just sending you replacement levers? Actually... I'm assuming that they're sending you replacements under warranty.

hmmmm 3yrs in R&D and they come out with selfdestructing levers? Cmon.... avid has a good rep. i really hope that this is only an one off bad sample. or batch.
could just be a bad batch or early production problems. These thingshappen does'n t mean it'sa bad design or bun product.

Actually, I repaired the 1 one, the other is managable yet. Plus I hope it is a bad batch, if not it will be a looong 2004 season.

The one for the rear is part Avid, part Hope.
