After looking around at work stands, it seems that lower priced ones always lack something that higher end models have (ex: rotating arm or adjustable height).

Ive come to the conclusion that i might just build one myself. I think i would just basically copy the design of the popular onces but make it myself. My friend is a welder and could possible weld stuff it comes to that.

What do you think of that? Have you had an experiences building a professional looking/working stand? ive seen some ghetto rigged ones with rope or hooks on a wall, but i want something different from everyone even if it means making my friend put it together for me. :D

the easiest way to do it is to copy the ones that clamp your frame by 'screwing' the clamp part together. it is basicly a vise that holds your bike.

I might make one next quarter in shop class.
