How dangerous is radio hill? I found a Lincoln Heights to Downtown route on cicle.org (http://www.cicle.org/cicle_content/pivot/entry.php?id=698#ne) and wanted to try it out. But it says go with a friend. Then I drove by the entrance to radio hill near the 110 and saw a woman jogging on stadium way and asked her about it. She says people sleep there in tents and she's only been up there with a friend. Is radio hill that dangerous for a lone woman biker? I go on the la river path by myself all the time and there are plenty of homeless that sleep there. But I don't feel in danger at all. Should I wait and enlist a riding buddy or try it out by myself? Anyone have any experience with radio hill? I like discovering new biking routes locally. I'm I crazy to consider going by myself?

I've never done Radio Hill, I always go up the other side (Elysian Park --> Park Row Dr.) That side I'd consider pretty safe during the day, but perhaps drive it in a car just to see for yourself.

grrly, I am not familiar with that route but I think being female, you should heed the advice, especially the first time.
