Looking for a "beginner" club for a buddy of mine up in Reston/Herndon. I'm giving him my bike so he can lose some weight, but he's not really sure where to find the beginner group rides.

PPTC is a good group. There are usually several D and C level rides each weekend, which are good for starting out.
The Oxon Hill Club is also good for beginners, but most of their rides are a bit from from Reston.

I think theres a Reston Bike Club ride every weekend or so as well.
