Hello,

Can you please name the rim component as shown in the image bellow.

If I don't mistake


(a) - Rim lip or Bead Flange
(b) - Bead Seat



Are there any other components that I missed?

You forgot the holes! There's probably 30 spoke holes you left out of your picture! And, a hole for the tube stem!

While knowledge is always good, it isn't always necessary. I've ridden for nearly 40 years and done almost all my own work for 35 without knowing the real, legitimate names of most of those parts.

There are mechanical engineers and there are mechanics, race drivers and there are spectators. Each and every one loves car racing but everyone acts on their passion in their own way.
You don't have to be an engineer to drive a car! Yet you do not need a driver licence in order to be a great physicist.
