Nice bike - strongly recommend you go clipless (Time, every time!) and thanks for making the only sensible decision regarding braking - disc brakes only :D
Rider specs please - greater than 6'10"?

Very nice! Is that a pump peg I see? I looked at the specs for the Co-Motion and I didn't see it mentioned in the options.
Now all you need to do is ride it around it's namesake :) .

HAHA. I figured either that or his wheels were like 400 mm or something. That bike is pretty crazy looking. It's gotta be good to get a nice bike like that when you're that tall. Can't be easy.
Good luck, and I hope you get thousands of great miles out of that beast.
I can't get over how huge that head tube is.

Maybe this is a totally ignorant question, but was your choice of disc brakes somehow influenced by the size of the bike, or was it totally personal preference. Just curious.

I've been reading about the developmental stages of this bike for a couple years now in the Rivendell Reader, and it's quite a well thought out, quality bike. Enjoy!

Sorry. I guess I thought it was a total custom, and I thought maybe you requested them. So do they mass produce that bike, or is it a custom (or maybe somewhere in between the two choices). At any rate, it looks like an awesome bike. I hope you like it.
And, I echo what was said above. Let's see some pics of you on it.

Man that is an impressive bike! I am sorry to report that it is being discontinued. Did you also consider their Americano model? So it is a 68cm seat tube measured center to center? What kind of riding do you do with it?
It is being discontinued? I did not know that. :(
I spoke with Dwan co-motion by phone on two occasions, told him what I wanted the bike for, how I rode, etc. He was very courteous and didn't try to rush me off the phone. We talked for 20-30 minutes about geometry. This is what we came up with. I chose the Mazama model because of its beefier components, because I'm a beefy guy.
I ride 15-25 miles per day on the streets and an occasional sidewalk.
(51) how was your experience with co-motion? I am considering getting one of their custom frames. I see they sent you that nice drawing too.

Nice looking bike, and I bet there are very few people interested in stealing it, because they would never be able to ride it. :-)
And people think my 61cm is a tall bike. I am 6'3" and I don't see me getting on that bike. Or at least not without a "cup".

Co-Motion is a great Bike and a great company to work with. I've sold their tandems a few times and each was custom built custom ordered. Very high quality frame work and paint work.
On this bike. MAN! That's freakin HUGE! I really thought it was a 26 inch wheel bike at first.
