I'm upgrading the drivetrain on my 03 specialized allez sport. I just to make sure I'm not missing anything. I switching from a Spec. triple to a Dura-Ace double and switching out the derailures from a long cage to a short cage in the back and a double in the front (ultegra stuff), am I going to need anything else, will the BB be compatible?

The OEM on your Sport is sqare taper, triple length BB, which is incompatible with anything in the 105 level and higher Shimano road cranks. These have all been "pipe billet" splined BB for more than 3yrs. So I would add a new Ultegra BB in the 112mm or so range to your acquisitions along with appropriate tools. The cranks should come with the bolts for the BB IIRC. The BB by itself is sans bolts. If your source for the cranks is a take off, make sure you get some bolts. You will notice some definite improvements in the shifting. Steve

Thanks, now I just want to make sure but I should be looking for an English threaded BB and not Italian right?

And make sure your front shifter is compatible with a double.
