I need help with my giro brakes before I get hurt because when I squeeze the brake(front or back) they move but they don't touch the rims so they don't apply any pressure and they don't stop me I have tried fixing it but I just can't get them to stop me.
if anyone knows whats wrong or how to fix it please let me know
by putting up a post or send me an e-mail
:) thanks:)

Without any information or being able to see your bike, how do you suppose anyone will be able to figure out what's wrong?
Have you checked the obvious--are the cables hooked up?

When i first got my circa '70s Puch tourer around 1995, i found that altho the new Aztec pads i installed on the original single-pivot brakes were contacting the rims when applied, the brakes were alarmingly slow to stop me going down steep hills.
I took the bike back to the LBS where i got it & the owner told me that this type of brake was actually designed NOT to stop quickly, in order to avoid pileups in the peloton.
I don't know if this was another of that LBS's snowjobs or not, but as i was not going to find myself in any peloton with my Puch tourer, i immediately ordered & installed a set of Shimano 105 brakes from Nashbar, & have been happily stopping whenever i want to ever since.

Bike kid, what is happening, or not happening. Do the brakes touch the rim when you pull on the lever? Is there just no power or is it not working at all?
