I use a magnetic retrieval tool to extract the batteries from my Fenix flashlight that I have mounted to my handlebars. The light is angled down and gravity wants to keep the batteries in the flashlight. Now I do not need to reposition the light so the batteries will fall out on their own. Just thought I would share the tip.

I use the twofish mount, so it is simple.. Undo the velcro, change the batteries out, reposition and tighten velcro and your done..

I use the twofish mount as well, but I don't want to prematurely wear out the velcro.

You should dismount the bike anyway to get some rest while changing batteries. Just tip the bike and let them slide out.
Wear out the velcro? How often are you changing batteries? I am thinking in terms of riding a couple of nights per week at the most and the majority of time only once a week.
