Training & Nutrition - CycleStats 2008 FREE Excel based training log RELEASED!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I posted this in another forum and thought it would be most appropriate here...
Just to let you know I have updated my website with new CycleStats 2008.
I search high and low on the net for a good Excel based training log and couldn't find anything so, with the help of fellow cycling enthusiasts I created CycleStats 2008. It is free to download and use. Try it out and let me know what you think. It is aimed at the serious cyclist who likes to analyze all sorts of data about their ride. Since I did it in Excel you can customize it how you want.

Those legs on the site are pretty awesome. I also love that dude's handlebars on the main page. I downloaded it, and hopefully it will help me train.

I can't save the worksheet after I've entered stuff (I was just trying it out). Is there something I'm missing here? I'm using Office Mac 2004.

Chucky, is it giving you an error? Did you save it to your disk and then open it or open it directly from the web?

Those are courtesy of Sean Kelley in 1984. No drugs in those legs.

I saved it to my hard drive, and then when I try to save it, it doesn't really give me an error, it just has a dialog box that says "The File Did Not Save" and all you can press is "OK". So I tried entering info and not saving, and not surprisingly, the next time it wasn't there. Any idea what could be causing this?
I would PM you, but I figure if anyone else has the same problem, maybe they can just find the answer here. Thanks for the prompt reply, and I'm excited to use this to help me train.

I think I fixed it. Look for the new release tonight. Mac's can't handle pivot tables I guess. Pity. Nonetheless, it will be up tonight. The Windows version works as is.

I know this is lame, but can you post when it's up? I really want to use it, and I know I'll forget to download. Thanks.

Check the website, I give instructions about how to stay informed. I'll try to update the site. I can't guarantee I will remember either but the people on the list get informed.
yea for the mac guys this is what it says
"Attention Mac owners. There seems to be an error that makes it impossible for this version to be saved using Office 2004 for Mac. I will fix this bug in the next release. E-mail me if you want to be notified."
