looking for some road rides: saturday - Xmas

Hey, I'm a providence native coming to see my parents for the holidays as I live in boston now. I'll be home from Saturday the 22 through Christmas day. I'd love to put in a nice 4 day training block. I'll be riding my fixed gear (70 gear inches, if you care) and looking for 2-4 hour road rides at endurance to tempo+ paces and some good scenery would be nice too.

anyone know of any rides I should look for that run year round or anyone want a riding buddy... I'll be coming from Mineral Spring ave. in N. Providence, if that matters.

should I just bring the MTB and hit Lincoln woods??

We have about 12 inches up here and some of the roads are real tight with snowbanks. Black Ice is a problem right now. Be carefull
