My Performance (re-branded Elite) holds my bike at a bit of an angle because of the way it clamps over the quick release lever. I'm wondering if anyone has found a QR lever that works particularly well with trainers.
TIA
My CycleOps came with a QR so the bike's "nice" QR doesn't get screwed up and it works great.
Performance brand -- you get what you pay for.
My Performance trainer came with an old style steel skewer so my nice skewer wouldn't get hosed up. It also has larger caps so they fit in the cups on the trainer better.
Did you buy your trainer used? If not, give them a call and see where your skewer is. If you did buy it used, give them a call and see if they can spare one.

My Tacx Satori came with a QR that fits perfectly into the mounts.

The new skewers in use the last few years just don't work. As others have mentioned, use an older style model and make sure the cut-outs on the trainer mechanism are lined up properly.

Maybe, but for this purchase was pretty good. $130 or so for a fluid trainer (3 yrs ago). I got no bones w/Performance, but then I only use the local shop... no mail order.

KK Road Machine, came with skewer and only use that one. Fits right and prevents the bike from accidentally coming "dislodged."
