Glad you could join us! I met the guy riding up Euclid towards Baldy Rd. Had plenty of riding stories to share, good ones!
He needs to do one of the GMR forum rides. I think he'll kick some butt!:D

Hello Mr. Beanz,
I've been trying to get in some miles since I saw you last, so I'll have a chance to stay up with some of the riders here. My legs and lungs keep reminding me how long it has been since I spent much time on the bike.
I nearly went out to GMR to meet up with some of the BF riders the day it was so windy, but decided to ride to Santa Anita and back instead. I had been up GMR to GRR to Baldy Village the week before, for the first time in too many years. One thing I have noticed is that the pull of gravity seems to be much stronger than it was way back in the old days when I rode more.
Thanks for the info related to this site and bikejournal.com . They have helped provide some motivation to get back out on the road. The really nice thing is so far I have even avoided all the cars. After all, having been hit twice, I'm not sure if "the third time is a charm".
Since we are both right here in Upland, we will have to get together for a ride. Perhaps I should bring a bungee cord just in case... :) (I was looking for a smilie with the tongue hanging out so far it could be run over by the front tire of a bike. Maybe I'll just have to have someone take a photo of me at the end of my next ride.)

I didn't see your post till now, yeah I'm a bit slow!:D I'm thinking the bungee is for me cause you were smoking up Euclid the day I met you out there! You should have joined the forum GMR riders. Let them know you're on, they'll look after ya!:D
Glad you logged on along with bikejournal. Good for the cycling! I'm actually shocked as most riders say they'll look into it but you actually did it. You're gonna be a good BF'er!..BF'er = Bike Forum'er:p
