Blogger's Forum - Who wants to help out our industry?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

There are a lot of great little bike companies out there, as well as non-competing sites that could use a boost in traffic. As bloggers, we can help them out by doing a short writeup, and posting a link. If anyone is interested in helping out these companies, let me know, and I'll point you in their direction. It's good for cycling, it's good for us.

Thanks,

Brian

I would be interested, depending on who it is, I don't think many people read my blog though.

My blog isn't entirely industry related, but I certainly talk about cycling. I don't know if I could help, but I'd be happy to do so if I can work it in with the main focus of my blog. Let me know what it entails, I'll see what I can do.

Blog traffic is good, but even if no one reads it, the links help. Shoot me an email, and I'll give you the current list of companies that need some linkage.

I'm always looking for some good opportunities to feature boutique and lesser-known products on my site and my cycling-related blog. Shoot me a list of companies/links and I'll lend a hand as well.

I'm always happy to do product reviews on my blog. Just make sure it's a good product, because I'm brutally honest.

I would like offer my site up to support others.

It's a forum that was just started. I can give companies their own sub-forum to use as they see fit.

You want to promote your own forum on this one?

It's not competitive with this one. I don't see a problem, it's not like you can only be a member on one forum.

Why not just post the list? Are these paid "opps" that are becomming rampant in the blogging world? Is this a SEO effort based on increasing links to attract google robots? feel free to pm the list, i am happy to help but am curious about strategy. If you're interested in truly expanding the market though you probably are going to need to get out of the cycling world and get non-cycling blogs involved, otherwise you are likely to get people onto mountainbikes by taking them off of road bikes etc.

There is no list. I'm constantly in contact with people in the industry, and any time I meet someone that needs a bit of help promoting their site, product, or event, I'll send an email to bloggers willing to help.
