Babies sleep intermittenly, crap themselves periodically, and cry/scream until they literally break a sweat from all the commotion.
Anyone else here "sleep like a baby"?
Who comes up with these idioms? Know any more stupid sayings, or just want to comment on this one?

Erroll Flynn. The expression is generally believed to refer to Flynn's legendary success in wooing the ladies.
Ok, that was way to easy. :(
Let's take this across the pond... "Bob's your uncle."

Why is something that's "as easy as pie" also referred to as "a piece of cake"?

I do! I have two sewing machines and a corner of the bedroom set up just for my sewing projects (anything from my camping gear to a quick hem on a pair of pants.)
