A buddy of mine is looking for a chain ring for an old Ross. (84-85)
He needs a 144 BCD - preferably 54, but he'd take 53.

The last store he tried said it doesn't exist, but then changed his story when he realized how old the bike was.

Does anyone have a contact or thought on where we might look for this part?

BTW - It's off a Sugino Crank...

Thanks so much

R

My current Campy track ring is 144 BCD and they are available in 54, I believe. Sugino rings fit my Campy cranks as well.

I frequently see Sugino 54T 144BCD chainrings on eBay.

144 was the Campag. road standard from 1967 through at least the mid-1980s, when the 135mm BCD circle came out. I believe it still is the Campag. track standard.

Of course, a Campy ring would cost more than an entire old Ross would be worth..
