I live in California, and the time zone in my user control panel (http://www.bikeforums.net/profile.php?do=editoptions) is set to "(GMT -8:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)" with "DST corrections always on". But when I go to View New Posts (http://www.bikeforums.net/search.php?do=getnew), the newest message was posted exactly one hour in the future.

I first noticed a problem when a message I posted a little over an hour ago had a timestamp of just a few minutes ago.

Try switching to 'Automatically detect DST settings'.

That should correct the problem.

Did that work?

Yes, it did, thanks. My mental model of that setting was all wrong. I thought the "Automatically detect DST settings" was the same as or would somehow detect whether I had the "automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" checkbox checked in Windows XP.

Glad to see that you got it working properly again. When I went to look at the settings I realised I'd done the same as you, but last year.

hehehe :o
